We transformed the top floor of a three-story luxury house in Pannipitiya into an incredible home cinema. The 25 ft x 24ft x 11ft room had some challenges, but we fixed them with a second layer of soundproofing using rock wool. After talking with the client, we decided on a 150-inch screen and top-notch equipment, including an AWOL Vision 4K 3D Triple Laser Projector, Klipsch surround sound speaker system, and Marantz SR8015 11 CH 8K AVR. This setup supports DOLBY ATMOS 11.1 for an amazing audio experience.
We took care of the entire cinema design, from acoustic treatments and soundproofing to lighting and interior design. The cinema features three seating areas: bean bags on the first layer, cinema chairs on the second, and a custom 16ft x 10ft U- shaped sofa. There are two entrance doors, hidden ventilation windows, and two AC units to keep the room comfortable. One AC boosts cooling while the other maintains the temperature.
