A Historic Chapel with Timeless Acoustics
The Assembly of God Church in Kandy, built in 1914 during British rule, was designed for natural acoustics without a sound system. Over the years, modern requirements disrupted its balance, resulting in an 8-minute RT60 delay with a full-range sound system.

Practical Acoustic Solutions
To address the issue, WoodyWave Acoustic installed custom-designed absorption panels in key areas and added a drum enclosure for the acoustic drum kit. These updates improved sound clarity while maintaining the chapel’s historical charm.

Next Steps for Perfection
The project will continue with a new sound system, precise tuning, and optimized audio and video power wiring, ensuring a seamless audio experience for all services.
